Daily Positive Affirmations for Self Love and Confidence

What are positive affirmations? They are positive phrases used to remove negative thoughts and to encourage positive thinking.

The end goal is to make positive thoughts dominant over negative ones and, basically, a part of who you are.

For example, imagine you’re walking down the street and some people are looking at you. Instead of “What’s wrong with me?”, your first thought is “I look good”:)). Yes, that’s how they work, if you use them regularly.

If you’re still not sure how positive affirmations work, allow me to give you one more example. Repeat this sentence 3 times: How I love myself is how I teach others to love me. Say it out loud – 3 times.

It’s completely normal to have both good and bad days. However, you shouldn’t let those gloomy thoughts determine the course of your day. You have the power to transform your energy into focusing on the positives. The greatest encouragement and sympathy should come from within.

That’s why we compiled a list of positive affirmations every woman should tell herself on a daily basis. Repeat this positive self-talk every single morning so you don’t forget the spark that ignites your passion for life and the love and encouragement you deserve to get from yourself.

1. I love and accept myself

You need to start your day with a strong statement, and expression of self-love and appreciation of yourself is the right way to kickstart the day and get yourself into the right mindset. The path to true self-acceptance can be long and strenuous, but you need to see the good in yourself, try to change what can be changed and fully embrace what cannot.

2. I am a creative force and what I do matters

Repeating this positive affirmation to yourself will not only help you feel more confident in what you are doing, but it is also validation from yourself. You are assuring yourself that you’re a productive member of society, and inspiring yourself to make a good change in the world.

3. I believe in my visions and my dreams

The key to positive affirmations that boost your confidence and self-esteem is believing in yourself and your power to succeed. Trust yourself and your ability to achieve your goals. You can do anything if you have the right mindset. Remind yourself that you can achieve greatness and live the life of your dreams.

4. I deserve love and happiness

You need to instill this one into your mind and learn to never settle for less. You deserve to get true genuine love and appreciation from people you care about. You are worthy of affectionate relationships and lasting friendships. You deserve to be happy, satisfied and content, and nobody has the right to take that away from you.

5. I am doing my best and I am proud of myself

Everyone moves at their own pace in life, so you need to remind yourself that you are doing your best, and you should be proud of yourself. Do not compare yourself to others. Tim Hiller put it so nicely: “don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle, or your middle to someone else’s end.” Be proud of your accomplishments, you can look to others for inspiration but you can’t beat yourself up for not being at the same level as they are.

6. I am an energetic magnet for good and positive energy

It’s only natural that when you are at peace with yourself, you emanate a positive spirit.  And when you surround yourself with good vibes and positive energy, you will inevitably attract more positive energy. Think of how contagious happiness is, and be the embodiment of that. Start your day by thinking positive and you will realize how your confidence and optimism can boost the quality of your day.

7. I forgive myself for my past mistakes and I forgive others who hurt me

Forgiveness is a crucial step in the path towards self-actualization and self-improvement. You need to learn how to let go of those feelings of guilt, shame, and anger, and replace them with compassion, sympathy, and love. The past cannot be unchanged, but your attitude towards it can. So don’t think of your mistakes as failures, but as opportunities that you have learned from and which shaped you into the person you are today.
